Basically three studies. Patients with non-resectable liver metastases from primary colorectal carcinoma. These are international multi-centre open label studies.

These ongoing studies will recruit several hundreds of patients in many countries around the Globe.

  • Approximately 608,000 deaths from colorectal cancer are estimated worldwide, accounting for 8% of all cancer deaths, making it the fourth most common cause of death from cancer.
  • For colorectal cancer, the most common site of metastatic spread is the liver.

Furthermore, liver metastases represent the main cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with colorectal cancer (McMillan and McArdle, 2007) and without any treatment the median survival for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer is approximately eight months.

Auxiliis is performing all biometrics, eDC and Data management for this study.
